Arlo firmware update is released automatically to all wired and wireless devices that are connected to your Arlo camera. Automatic updates might happen between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. to minimize the Arlo camera login downtime.
If the firmware on your Arlo camera is outdated, you might be unable to stream recordings from your device until unless the firmware is up-to-date. For this, you don’t have to wait for an auto-update that takes place between 3:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. You can simply update the firmware manually whenever it is available.
Note: In case, you fail to view your Arlo device’s live, motion, and sound detection, don’t worry. It is stored in the memory card. As soon as you update the firmware on your device, you can view the saved recordings. But make sure that the memory card isn’t corrupted and is properly inserted.
Also note this down that the “Arlo Go” firmware updates use cellular data to download and install.

Once all the LEDs on your Arlo camera become stable, the firmware on your device will be updated and installed successfully.
